Founded in spring of 2013 utilizing the talents of members from black/doom band Stoic Dissention, power grind band One Per Coffin, and psychedelic journeymen The Flight of Sleipnir immediately started to forge a sound rooted in sludge, built on doom, and consumed by death. The first release was well received and gained a perfect rating on well-known doom sites, which propelled the band into crafting the latest opus, The Anthems of Dread.
