Lysergene is the brainchild of Gordon Bicknell, member of legendary doom band Esoteric. The music is not doom, or even metal, though, but an eclectic mix of dark techno, ambient, EBM and drone. Why review it on D-M.com, then? Well, every Bicknell project is worth a mention and this mad cauldron of different styles will undoubtly please fans of Skinny Puppy, Orb, Front Line Assembly, etc. Just be open-minded and enjoy!
