Waste Cult were formed in Bologna, Italy during late 2021 - with all members having played in various other punk/thrash metal projects in their area, including Rake-Off, Hyle, Siege Stompers, Call The Cops +++

The aim of the band was to create some different sounds and atmospheres to their other projects, intentionally aiming at a slower and doomier approach.

In mid 2022 they recorded a debut 4-track EP, which was self-released on tape, and then began playing shows across Italy.

Their first full length album comes together as a sum of all their different influences.
Taking inspiration from the doom classics, to the more modern post-metal sounds - which, even after only a few years experimenting in the practice room, shows they have created a more defined identity - with both an introspective and personal touch within the lyrics.

2025 sees the release of the debut Waste Cult album - "Blame" - which will be followed by more extensive gigs and tours.
